Was trying to find smaller 35" tire so my 3.73 auto (2013) would be happier, even was thinking about some 305/70's but It will cost more to buy a smaller tire, Do you think a extra 1/2 to inch in height would make that big a difference? My choice is 35" km2(run smal), 305/70/17 mt/r (cost the most), or 35/12.5/17 mt/r ( runs big but is the cheapest) I am probably making a bigger deal than I need to, but I can't afford to make a mistake. I live in the south, only flat land. I have a JKUR, with 3.73 auto, 3.6.

I agree. You won't notice a difference.

I am in the same configuration with 35' MTK and I am very happy. I even race with cars sometimes.

On the other hand, how much difference does the 1/2" make if you run the smaller tires? Its only half an inch either way.

I thought the rubicon's came stock with 4.10 gears? Maybe there's different types but I was pretty sure they had the 4.10 on most rubicon's? I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong though...

Some of the rubies came off the line with the tow package 3.73's, my 13 did also. I run 315/70/17 ' s which are just about 34.5, no problems (duratracs)

With the 3.6 you won't notice any issues with 35's.Our friend runs 37's on his 3.6 rubi
