doing gears and have open diffs... now or never right????
I got 5.13's in the mail today so I nave to make a choice. im thinking Detroit trutrac in the rear and open in the front. Could do E or air locker in front but don't see why... if I have a posi in the rear and a winch on the front do I need to worry about air line/ wires hanging under the jeep? its a DD more than a mud/ hard core off road jeep but I want to be happy with what it can do off road too.

But a winch is on my list as well.Lines hanging under the Jeep? Not if installed correctly!!! They stay high and dry.

Basically the same here. Front D30. Running Yukon 5.13s, ARB locker, and 35s. I figured I would rather avoid getting stuck than being able to get unstuck.

Just a question. If a $475 truetrac is good enough for the rear d44, why consider dumping a thousand into the front d30? Perhaps a $375 d30 truetrac would fit the bill...
[QUOTE=1slowjeep;3546505]where do you go from the diff to the body at? center or near springs? pics?[/QUOTE
My brakelines are mounted the same route as stock, just extended the line...air lockers are run basically the same area from the diff to the body. Well outta the way. There are extensions for brakelines on just about any 4x4 website. You can run them where you wanna...
