Default Don't kill the village idiot...

Sorry guys. I'm new to the JEEP thing here. I've been trolling over the forum here trying to find out what I need but just can't seem to find it. I'm looking to run 16x8 wheel with 265/75-16s. I'm thingking of a 4.5 or 5" BS. My question is later on down the road I'm gonna want to lift it and get bigger tires so would I have any problems with these rims and their BS?

I am running 16 x 8 with a 4.6" backspace, and fit 35" tires on a 3" lift. The setup you are looking at will be just fine as you lift the vehicle. I would stay with the 4.5" backspacing instead of the 5", as this will keep you from rubbing as you put bigger tires on.

Kool. Thanks guys! I'm assuming I shouldn't have a problem with BS and spare tire carrier.

You should be fine with the 4.5" back spacing and the fit with the tire carrier.

Stock BS is 6.25" and so you will be just fine with 4.25" or 5" even later down the road
