Door Measurement Warrior and Stock
Just tried to fit my warrior half doors...the rear ones fit great, no rattle or anything. The front ones are a 1/4 inch off and don't shut. Talked to Warrior and they are sending out new doors.
I measured the distance between the hinges for the factory full front doors and it's 12.25 inches. On the Warrior it's 12.00 inches. So I'm wondering if Jeep changed the spacing (mine was finished June 26), or if these warrior doors are off? Could anyone else with warrior doors measure between pin carriers ? or anyone measure the distance between the tops of the body mounted hinges for the front doors of a JK ?
I'd like to know if it's a design problem or if my jeep is different.
Thanks,
kohrfam

Mine were off also...but not as bad as yours. I was able to adjust mine with the hinge shims. I'll measure mine later and post it for you.
I got the impression Warrior was making things up as they went along. Sorry you're having problems also. I was disappointed in Warrior after the issues I had with my tube doors. They took 1 month to arrive, and 3 more weeks to sort out the issues with Warrior. So, 7 weeks to have tube doors that almost fit correctly.
I like them. Though, if I got a do-over, I'd go with a different company I think  Sorry Warrior.

Well, i guess i am not the only one.
I ordered my all 4 half doors from warrior, and the back two doors arrived.
For my dissapointment, it's just a piece of metal and a lock mechanism.
No weather strips, no inside panel.
It didn't even fit, but it turned out after i spoke with them that they have sent door locks for TJ and not for JK.
So i am waiting for a shipping label to send the locks back and for them to send me the right one.
Front two doors..... i have no idea when i will get them.
They are still in the works. Should be send next week.
I can wait to see the final product.
I don't have a good feeling. The door is not a perfect fit, there is 1/2" space on the bottom between the door and the frame of the jeep.
Also, without a inside panel, they will look cheap and like someone like me have done it in his back yard. ( I have zero mechanical skills)
Maybe something is missing here. Maybe i have high expectations, and ofcourse they are cheap compared to $6000.
Also i found out that mopar parts direct have each door for about $1000. You have to assemble them yourself. Outer panel, door frame, inside pannel.
Maybe next year when i get my money back from taxes ( we are supposed to get the sales tax back from purchasing a new vehicle in 2008) i may look into getting a factory look half doors.
I would like to add that the person i spoke with from warrior products was very friendly and helpfull. His name was Jason and so far he has been very helpful. I am hoping this thing to resolve soon. Will keep you updated. I will post some pictures in my gallery
