Default door pull handles

Okay guys/girls---I've used the search function but I haven't been able to find a suggestion for padding the door pull handles. I keep hitting my funnybone on the sharp plastic edge when off-roading.

I'm sure I'm not the first that this has happened to. Does anyone remember any prior threads about it or have suggestions? Thanks in advance!! HBC

Rugged Ridge makes a neoprene cover; it's a set for the door handles and the grab bar.

One of the other women here made a leather cover for her grab bar, I'm sure that could be adapted to your door handle.

Edited to add link for the neoprene covers at Quadratec's site. I think they are the only sponsor that carries them.

Misch is also making a product that attaches to provide a padded armrest for when you are in your Jeep. This might work for you.

Default Thanks

Thanks! That's exactly the kind of stuff I'm looking for. I would like to see the padded armrests when they become available.

I know it sounds whimpy, but as I'm aging I'm finding that I try to eliminate as much unneccessary pain as possible. HBC

Where did you get them? It may be exactly what I'm wanting. Thanks!

Default leather wrapped door pull handles

leather wrapped door pull handles by Startech (Brabus subsidiary)

To bad I would have to bring my JK to Germany to have it done... I keep on looking for a local leather shop that can do it.

maybe you need an elbow pad....

Sorry I know I'm not helping....

But the seat belt thing may be worth the five bucks to try it out....

Do you have an auto? I don't remember hittin' my funny bone, but maybe I did and I forgot... I did hit my head when I raised my seat, once, but know I don't.....
