doors off mirror brackets..
The Die-Tech ones look nice, but it doesn't appear they would with tube doors. Still wish RR would just extend theirs out some because theirs are at the perfect location without having to move the mirrors everytime I change the doors.

i think also the die tech ones u have to take your mirrors off your doors to put them on the brackets. i want a perminant solution so all i have to do is take doors off and thats it.
I know this isn't perfect but I picked up a single small mirror down at autozone for around 10 to 15 bucks and attach it to the driver side bolts that hold up the windshield. As far as I know you only need 1 mirror on the driver's side to be legal in CA. Quick and easy.
Also I have heard the you can pick up a mirror for a Harley Davidson and it fits perfectly in the door mounting tube that is left open after you take off the doors.

As for my experience, I have the RR brackets. The driver’s side is fine, and just as everyone else the passenger side sucks. My p-side mirror is adjusted so the 1/4 mirror shows my blind spot. Not to say it's the best solution, but it works. As a vehicle passes out of view in my rear view mirror, I can see it in the small amount of passenger mirror.
I don't want to have to keep moving them from the door to windshield mount in the summer, so I've dealt with it. It works well now that I'm used to it. Probably not an answer for you, just my $.02. Good Luck

Some folks have bought a small spot mirror and placed it on the air conditioning vent by the passenger door. Presumably it's of little consequence when you need that mirror (doors off) that the passenger can't turn that vent to direct the air flow.
Harley-Davidson mirrors: My general impression (not personal experience) is that these are one of the very few mirror solutions that don't suffer from severe vibration. Can anyone confirm?

I wonder about a mirror inside the windshield A-pillar, right in front of the tweeter.
