if you look at the last pic I posted it kinda gives you a general idea of what it looks like.

I'm not sure but I think it looks both beads (inside and out) and it is maintenance free (not sure about that either)

I think for it to be DOT approved it requires maintenance free or minimal maintenance like on normal wheels.

my wheels are not DOT but I never had to go over the bolts. and they never lose air ( i've had them for two months and wheeled them once) so far so good

They have been around for a while and as nice as they are, especially with my love of 5 spokes for 5 lug wheels, I just couldn't imagine meeting the price point. Hutchinson makes some great stuff, I'm just not paying a 50% premium because it has a Jeep logo on it.

I cant see how anyone could justify paying that much for wheels that look like that, and im sure their performance isnt 3 times better than other beadlocks.

They make wheels for the military, aerospace industry etc etc. But who cares right. Only reason I know this is because I called Hutchinson today to see about the special order matte black ones. The regular rock monsters look alot better than the Jeep ones.

How do you balance the wheels and tires? It does not appear that standard weights would work.

Also, that is a heavy wheel; that has to be a consideration. At least 20#s heavier than a standard rubicon wheel. I still have 32s and I am concerned about the extra rotating mass 35s or 37s will add. Any thoughts?
