Default Double check me

I plan on doing a few mods within 1-2 months...just wondering if some of you could recheck my list to see if I need anything else:

Tires, I plan to go with 285/75/16 (33X11.5X16) or 305/70/16 (33X12.5X16) AT tire. Plan to buy Pro Comp 7089 rims (5 X 5 bolt pattern with 4.5 off set?). I am gonna get the TF 2.5 coil lift with shocks. I might need to get some TPMS. My jeep is a 6 speed if that matters with the lift.

Thanks in advance.

Looks like a good setup. My only question would be why would you need TMPS, you could always take them off your old wheels.

Thanks guys, I am glad I asked because I did not know I would need the front adjustable track bar.

Also, another question....would I need to get the lift first or would it be OK to get the rims and tires put on? Will the rims and tires fit without the lift?

Oh, the reason for the new TPMS, I wanted to to keep the old tires and rims and change them out if I ever needed them. But that makes no sense now that I think about it.

You don't need the front adjustable track bar. It would be nice though cuz you'd probably get about 3 inches of lift, enough to change some of the geometry in your jeep.

I dont know if the tires will fit with no lift. You are only going up 1-2 sizes.....

The lift will make it look better in my opinion.

Rims are correct offset (4.5)

It will look nice!

You might do so research on brake line extensions or replacement extended brake lines for the set up you choose. For light wheeling your are probably okay with the stock gear but if you run the suspension at full droop you run the risk of damaging your break line. Sounds like a nice set up.

You might be able to get away without the front and rear adjustable track bars but I doubt it. Shock and coil lifts of 2.5" or more of lift will usually shift your axles off center and you will need the adjustable track bars to get the axles re-centered.

Default TF 2.5 w/coils post parts

After installing my TF 2.5 w/ coils & shocks I didn't need a front adjustable track bar. I needed a rear one. Mine was off by about 1.5 inches to the left. The front was right on the money.
I recommend waiting until after the lift to decide if you need one, both or none!

I went with 295/75/16 Terra Grapplers with a 2 1/2" Rough Country spacer lift with no adjustable track bars, and it is fine. If you are going to wheel it, get a Terra flex (or similar) brake line lowering kit for about $15, or make your own.

Ok, I will definitely buy the brake line extensions then. What is $15 after spending money on lift, tires, rims, etc. Another question...If I do need the adjustable track bar(s), will it be ok to drive, no off-roading, till they arrive and be installed? Sorry for all my questions, just do not wanna mess up my jeep.

Also, I think I changed my mind on tires. I was leaning for an AT type tire but think I am gonna go with the Hankook Dynapro MT RT103.

My two cents would be put the lift on and then consider brake line extensions. The tera 2.5 comes with a brake line relocation brake that has worked well for me.

Also I am running both stock track bars and am fine. Some day I will get them but it does fine on and off road.
