Default Drag link flip kit question?? Do I need to keep this??

I have purchased a DLFK and TB relocation bracket. My question is this..
On my factory 08 JKUR I have my SS but I also have a factory steering dampner attached to the top. Can I just take this off when I install my DLFK? Or do I need to keep it?
I'm pretty sure I won't need it and the new parts don't have a mounting place..

If all is well with your suspension, steering and wheel balancing, there is no need for a steering stabilizer. I ran without for quite some time with no issue

From a vibe's standpoint, I 100% agree with you.... However even if all is well I would keep it. It takes impact to the steering system and dampens it. Reduces a good deal of stress on the linkage, and especially the box itself.

Just my 0.02

This makes it sound like you have two steering stablizers? You call one a SS and the other a dampner. Do you have two installed?

This is it. It's attached to my drag link. I'm thinking I won't need it after I install a DLFK. Click image for larger version

You don't need it now. I have never seen that before...dual stabilizers on the tie rod and another one on the drag link, that is a really weird combo.

Kinda what I was thinking. I was pretty sure I wouldn't need it plus I have never seen this set up before.

Find a stock tie rod mount. Most track bar mounts have a hole for The SS.
