Can you use the bushing that is used for the flip in stock position? Reason I ask is the hole in my knuckle is oblong and this seems to be a simple way to solve it without replacing the knuckle. I ordered both the bushing and the synergy drag link tonight and I'm hopeful it works. I replaced the stock one a few months ago and tore the boot on install. The new stock one I ripped the boot on lasted about ten thousand miles. It is now binding and preventing me from turning at times - VERY DANGEROUS so I need to replace it ASAP Any thoughts on the use of the bushing installing the synergy in the stock location is appreciated.

Yes you can. That's the benefit of using the flip adapter.

I don't really know. Yes I had death wobble and I have replaced everything up front. All I know is that it was oblonged when I replaced it about 10,000 miles ago. I wish I would have upgraded back then! I bought the d44 used and installed it last year so it very well may have been that way when I bought it and I didn't notice it.

X4on the Synergy. They make great stuff. Plus if you ever want/need to flip all you would have to do is ream it out.

Oblong=no bueno

WOW! All I can say is I am shocked at how beefy this thing is. I can't imagine I will ever have an issue with this part again! Now I just need to decide if I install in stock position or flip it. I only have a 2.5" lift.

You'll need three inches of bump stop which is a lot for a 2.5" lift. Plus a bracket to raise the axle side track bar end.

Stock side it is. Thanks for the input. I guess I'm all set if I ever want to put a larger lift and 40's on.
