Default Draglink flip

WHat exactly does a dragline flip kit do and what do they cost. I've been told if I want to add the Teraflex leveling kit to my 3 inch coil lift I should add the flip kit

a draglink flip changes/corrects your steering geometry on a lifted vehicle. since the vehicle is lifted, flipping the draglink (essentially raising the knuckle side mount) will decrease that steep angle you made when lifting it.

The goal in a steering system is to have your front track bar and draglink parallel to each other, otherwise you will induce bump steer because they are not moving in unison with each other.

It sounds likes you have a 3" lift, so if you dont already have a trackbar relocation mount that raises the axle side mount that 3", I would get one. The draglink flip and trackbar relocation should get your steering geometry where it needs to be.

In other words, do both (track bar relocation bracket + draglink flip) or do neither.

Hope that makes sense.

Default Cheaper option

If you are considering it and it sounds like you should, save your self the money and part it together. The "flipped" draglink is nothing more than a Mopar RHD draglink, part#52126058AD and can be purchased for around $60. The other part you will need is the tapered sleeve for after you drill the stock hole to 7/8". I ma not sure about finding this part, but if you search other places you can get the answer. A flipped draglink can be done for under $100 with the same parts ORE and AEV sell for $300+

Agreed, but the OP only asked about the Draglink Flip and the track bar was addressed above.

Indeed. I was just trying to clarify for other readers that the $300 ORE kit you mentioned in your last sentence is more than just a RHD drag link and tapered sleeve. It also includes a beefy axle-side track bar bracket, which is probably the most expensive piece of the kit. Even if the drag link and sleeve are sourced separately, which is great info by the way, a similar track bar bracket would likely drive the cost of a complete kit to well over the $100 you listed (unless the bracket is homemade or bought used).

Thanks guys. The only bracket I have on is the relocation bracket for the rear trackbar. The front didn't change but it drives like a beauty right now
