if you're feeling a tom woods shaft is what you want, get it but, make sure to upgrade the u-joints to spicers or neapco. the joints they come standard with are cheap and i have seen them fail prematurely without any good cause or reason. you will not need to get adjustable control arms for the front shaft, only the rear.

yeah, fanboys can be pretty loud. don't know who would be giving you mixed opinons on reel especially being that they use made in the usa neapco u-joints. but hey, get whatever you feel like spending your money on.

any chance you could add in some punctuation? it sure would help me to read what you're trying to say.

so long as they're balanced well, drive shafts are for the most part, drive shafts. the biggest difference between one and the next are the components used to make them like the u-joints. some popular brands use cheap chinese u-joints of which i personally have seen fail enough times to concern me and really, for no good reason. it is for this reason i highly recommend that you either get a coast which comes with spicer u-joints or je reel, which comes with made in the usa neapco u-joints or, upgrade whatever shaft you get with either one of those u-joints.

regarding the rear shaft, are you asking about recommendations on control arms?

LOL!! thanks.

any adjustable rear upper control arms should allow you to rotate your pinion up and in line with your rear drive shaft. this is a necessary step when running a u-joint style double cardan rear drive shaft. up front, you DO NOT want to do this as it will compromise your caster and that it an important part of good front end alignment. as far as control arm brands go, i have installed and run full-traction, teraflex, currie, JKS and a few others i can't think of off the top of my head and, they all were quality products.
