Default Driver Seat Bracket Mod

I'm trying to figure out a way to modify the driver seat bracket to make it sit lower than it does right now. The seat is too high for me- even when in the lowest position. I'm 6'2", so my eye level is near the top of the windshield and I have to duck down in order to see traffic lights (which kills my neck after awhile.)

I took a look at the brackets and noticed something. The legs actually bend downward to the feet where they are bolted into the floor. I was thinking if there was a way to take the "bend" out to make the legs straight (flush with the floor,) it would lower the seat at least two inches. It might be impossible to work with the front legs, because one sits higher than the other, but the back legs are similar to eachother, and might be easier to work with. Would it be possible to take the bends out of the back legs? How would one go about doing it?

If anybody has any ideas, I would really appreciate some input.
