I am hearing a loud thump each time I roll over a decent sized bump on the road anywhere from 15+ mph.....I can not determine front or rear as it sounds as if the problem is somewhere in between??? My guess is front though. I will be taking it in tomorrow for a post lift once over, as it is overdue.
Any thoughts?

 

Your sway bar link or shock absorber grommet are broken. Both situations happened on my left and right front side. I had the same loud clunk sound. They should replace it for free.

Oh I didnt realize you have a lift...it could be something related to that then. Check the sways, drag-link, tie-rod

 

Could also be the door adjustment. Several here (including myself) have had this. Typically adjusting the door strikers gets rid of it.

i've recently started getting a clunking sound when i go over bumps as well. i'm pretty certain its the rear driverside door. i just need to get out an mess with the striker to see if it goes away.
