Default Drivers Ed.. Bushing Failure

I got under the Jeep and inspected everything to figure out the source of the clunking noise as result of teaching my daughter to drive a stick:

FT Ultimate kit with less than 1500 miles on it and my daughter dumping the clutch..twice. I sent an email to FT and I was suprised that they called me in less than 5 minutes and they said that they are going send me new bushings ASAP.

Apparently, their bushing manufacturer screwed up.

I'm glad that nothing broke on the drivetrain and that FT is standing behind their product. I'll be able to swap the new bushings in less than an hour.

the bushings on my skyjacker shocks did something similar a few months back.... they told me the same thing, some sort of mix up with the polyurethane that the bushings are made of.

they sent me a replacement set.... no problems since

I'm not sure what I'm looking at. I would think that that would be a rubber bushing. Am I seeing that it is a rubber bushing that is filled with grease...errrr was filled with grease. Are those sealed bushings?

The bushing was made out of Jello instead of polyurethane! Gosh, glad it didn't cause an accident....

My Rough Country shocks had the same problem. Apparently, quite a few maufacturers use Daystar bushings, and a wjole bunch of them were bad. RC sent me polyurethane ones which I just installed last week. Hope these ones will last. RC customer service is great, by the way. Glad to hear FT is taking care of you.
