There was a thread about doing this, its one thing that is on the list. If you take the seat out, you can see a detente where a hole would go. I think the photo showed that one hole was already there and you had to drill out the others. I was just going to use self tapers and drive them in, I thing the mod would give you a couple more inches if I remember right ???

 

that would be nice...im 6ft and still have approximitly 6 inches to grow...on a full day of wheeling my leg is cramped!

Gotta bring this back from the dead! Anybody have any new info? I am dead set on getting a 2012 JKUR when I get back from Afghanistan and it's worrying me a little. I have trouble finding cars that fit me well, period. I know tuners like to lower seat brackets for their race seats and seems like it wouldn't be too difficult. Also, there are shops that customize cars for NBA payers and so on. Gotta be something...

 

I'm 6'2 and I have no problems with the legroom in my '12, in fact I have room to move the seat farther back. If you're not sure, go into the dealer and find out.

I will say however that beyond a certain point, you can't use the fold-down rear seat anymore as it won't fold down fully with the seat back all the way. Don't know if that's important to you or not...
