Changing my answer. There are some variables at play. Front driveshafts on Rubi's are a little shorter due to the D44. Chrysler shows different part numbers for auto and manual, but I am pretty sure it works fine. If they are different, it is very minimal in length and there is plenty of travel in the shafts to accommodate.

Ok, I still wondering myself. That's my concern dana 30 vs Dana 44

The D44 is slightly longer. Again, if you look at your shaft, it has plenty of travel. Think about how many people put lifts on and don't change the driveshaft. Technically, a lift would need a different length. It's highly unlikely you'd have a fitment issue. I just put a rear shaft on my manual that came off and auto. And that was from a 2012+ auto which is definitely different. No issues.

So you don't think if one was off a Dana 30 and going to be put on a Dana 44 there wouldn't be an issue bolting up

I can't make any guarantee - I'd feel like a dick if it didn't work, haha. Is the person who has it near you? Or, measure yours off the Jeep and have the eprson measure theirs. It will definitely bolt up, so that's not an issue. I'd be surprised if the lengths were different.

I would think maybe a minor difference in length. But it will get me by until I get a good aftermarket DS.
