Default Driveshaft clarifications

So I am about to install my Adams 1310 front ds on a 2 door with 2.5 coil lift and 3/4 spacers. I have been reading to run lower than stock caster and higher than stock caster, which do I run? I have adjustable upper and lower and the Jeep is my DD so just want it to be safe. I was planning on adjusting the arms to get around 4.2 caster like factory or bumping up to 4.7 because of the larger tires.

Thanks

Does the new front drive shaft have a double cardan joint at the t-case?

If it does, caster isn't your only issue. You need to have the pinion pointing up enough to have as close to zero angle as you can get between the pinion axis and the drive shaft axis. That requires a compromise between pinion angle and caster. Too much pinion angle, you'll get vibration of the double cardan. Too little caster, you'll lose directional stability.

Thanks from what I can understand the double Cardon part is only on the axle side.

I will run 4 which should give me 2 at the pinion

Do some more research before you put the double cardan on the axle end of the drive shaft. I think you'll find it goes at the t-case end.

When a drive shaft has a double cardan on one end, and a single cardan on the other end, the single must be as close to straight as possible; no more than a couple degrees from straight.
If the single cardan is at the t-case, it will never be anywhere close to straight on a lifted vehicle.

Also, keeping the u-joints well lubricated, especially the double cardan, is very important.
