Default Driveshaft Opinions

I did an extensive search on the site and came accross alot of driveshaft discussions. Sometimes the more I read, the more confused I get. I have a 2007 2 door rubi 6-speed with a 3" ft ultimate lift. I still have the original shafts and havent had any problems yet..but I only have 1900 miles on it. I am going to replace the driveshafts as a precautionary measure. I have used Tom Woods shafts before and did not have any problems with them. I know taht there are other manufacturers out there and alot of members have replaced theirs already. What options should I be looking for? What mounts? I still want the d-shafts to be the weak point as to not damage the t-case or axles, but I want them to be strong. Im running 35' tires and do mild rock crawling. Help?

I have Tom's 1310 shafts and could not be happier. I believe that their quality and customer service is one of the best in the industry.

Tom's design changes the yokes at the transfer case and the diffs. Check out his site and he explains why

4xshaft.com

If you decide to go with his. Send me a pm and I'll give you my peferred vender who discounts the price of Tom's shafts.

I just put a JE Reel rear 'shaft on my 2dr and couldn't be happier. I suggest that whoever you decide to go with that you replace the yokes as well as the 'shaft.
