Default Driveshaft quiestion

Hey, I have a 2 door, running 33's with a 2.5inch spacer lift. Before the lift was on, I researched to make sure I wasn't going to need to buy any additional parts, like a driveshaft. I've had the lift on for a year or so and haven't had any problems. My dad thinks there's a problem cause whenever I start it up and take off, he says there's a loud vibration coming from the front part of the body and that it's the driveshaft. I always thought the noise came from the exhaust cause I put an afermarket one on and became atuned with it. Or the noise could come from tools in the back, cause I still have the jack in there. From my understanding, any lift 3inch or more, u need to replace the driveshafts, am I right? What should I do, any help will really be appreciated

You only need to replace the driveshaft because it can't clear the transfer case skid. If theres a noise it could be coming into contact with it - you just need to get under there and look. It should be plainly obvious if its making contact with the skid.

If it's not making contact, you're good.

and i think you could deffinently feel it if you were making contant to it
plus you could see it on the skid and if it is all you have to do is remove the skid and get it cut andlittle to fit
