Cool Driveshaft rubbing auto tranny

Checking to see if folks have found a resolution to this issue? I have a Terraflex 3" lift, Metal Cloak control arms, Coast front driveshaft, JKS adjustable front track bar.

At passenger full stuff and driverside full droop the driveshaft hits the auto tranny housing/pan. It still hits even though I've adjusted the track bar to as short as possible

Is there a smaller diameter driveshaft available or can I have mine modified

Any advice or idea's are appreciated

I think he means this but the opposite flex.

Yes, with an auto and enough articulation, you need a front aftermarket drive shaft. They are "skinnier."

Sent from some string and a few tin cans.

He has a aftermarket drive shaft.

When you say adjusted trac bar short as possible Trac helps recenter the axle housing under your jeep, maybe you need to go the other way.We have a 4" lift and under full droop driveshaft never made contact with pan like the stock one did

More bumpstop to limit the up-travel?

My driveshaft rubs some time too. But it is barely making contact so I am not too worried about it in my case. I wish it wouldn’t make contact at all.

Go with a little shorter shock in the front or a limit strap.

Cool

Yes I have an aftermarket Coast Driveshaft (slimmer than stock). My goal here is to get more articulation not less My driveshaft rubs pretty hard as the driveshaft has a pretty good gouge in it

One side of the track bar mounts to the driverside frame rail, the other side to the differential housing. When the passenger side tire is at full stuff and the driverside tire is at full droop it means the differential and driveshaft pivot to the passenger side as the arc becomes greater. Get down under your JK and it will become clear to you By shortening the track bar it pushes the differential housing to the driverside thereby giving as much clearance as possible for the driveshaft to the auto transmission housing. I'm hoping there is a slimmer driveshaft front to give me the clearance I'm looking for. Anybody know of one?
Thanks for your time

Nope. Look closely and you will see when the driverside tire is at full stuff the differential housing is arcing away from the transmission housing Driveshaft clearance is not an issue in this case
