After wheelin in the snow, when i upshift i get a chirp. I can punch the gas and get this same chirp.
I read the tsb for the clutch but i dont think that is my problem.
I took the rear ds off and drove in 4hi around the parking lot, no chirp. Put the ds back in and the chirp was back as soon as i took off.
With the rear ds out i rotated the front and rear joints by hand ;the rear sounded squeaky. Think im on the right track?

Possibly a u joint? I had one and I had a progressive squeak as I went faster. Just something to check...:-/

Both make good Driveshafts. I am partial to Tom Woods. You can call them on the phone and make sure you get everything right. I actually enjoyed the phone call with them.

 

Im leaning towards the woods. I cant think of anything else this could be so about time to drop some dough.
