I got new yokes with the 1350 JE Reels. You can go either way with them. I'm dont know which is stronger.

The ONLY reason I like the OEM flanged shafts is because you can carry your stock driveshaft as a quick bolt-in spare. With the new yokes, you would have to change out the broken u-joints on the trail to get going in 4wd again.

x2!

A flailing driveshaft can do some damage, especially if it goes out at high speeds.

I went with the RE driveshafts b/c I got them used for $550 shipped with the adapters. They used OEM flanges and I kept my stock ones for spares.

Other than noise and leakage, how do you know they are going bad? Everyone has told me with the 3" I got from my lift I need to get new ones, but 10k miles so far and I have not noticed any problem. They still seem tight and dry. What should I look for?
