Coast 1310's here, zero issues & very happy with them

i really dont think you can go wrong with JeReel or Woods either though.

Default Rubicon Express Shafts?

Has anybody had any experience with the Rubicon Express shafts? I am about to purchase the rear shaft and rear upper arms for my 07 JK 2dr manual with 3.5" of lift and Rubicon Express seems to be the cheapest on the market.

Thanks!

I recently purchased a JE Reel rear driveshaft to accompany a 3" lift (actually got about 4.5")... I ordered the "CV" version, as opposed to the "OE" version... It was explained to me that the "CV" version replaces the connection (yoke? cv?) at both the differential and the xfer case..

I haven't installed it yet, but will be doing so shortly (having it done professionally).

My question is this - I kinda wish I got a Tom Woods instead and would like to put a Tom Woods on the front. Would that be a bad idea (JE Reel rear/Tom Woods front)? Is it better to have a "matching" set (both JE Reel front and rear)? I like the Tom Woods because I keep hearing good things about them (also, I think they look great)... I don't think I've ever heard a bad thing about TW, in fact.. I could almost say the same for JE Reel - I just haven't read as many reviews about them as I have the Tom Woods.

It does not matter what brand your front and rear drievshafts are. Your Jeep will not care.

JE reel, Tom woods, Coast ECT ECT are all good shafts just go with the one you want.

The reason I like the Coast shafts is I am familiar with them and I know they work really well . And they are made with USA parts.

JE Reel makes a great shafts made in the USA. We use his shafts on all our of builds. I've been running the Reels for well over 40,000 miles on my 2door and have never had any issues.

Ive heard some front shafts rub on the shift linkage on manual trans Jeeps, and require a body lift to run properly. I think the coast front shaft was one. Anyone know which ones fit w/o a body lift? I need a new front driveshaft since I cant really reach full dropp because the front driveshaft reaches its max angle before the suspension fully droops. DO NOT want a body lift.
