Driveshafts for rock krawler 5.5"

Have a local shop build them for you. A mistake most people make with the JKU is you don't need a Double Cardan joint on the rear. It is long enough that the joint does not bind and you end up dropping about $100 for something you don't need that is a pita to maintain.

Actually on a short arm lift as you go higher your driveline gets shorter due to the arms moving the axle in a tighter arc then the drive shaft. If you have a long arm set up with the control arms longer then the drive shaft you will have the drive shaft lengthen. These amounts length change are small and should not create any issues as far as driveline angles are concerned.

I concur with Dirtman. I have a 4.5 lift on my JKU with about 100,000 miles; with lots of trips to Moab & Colorado from Texas and never any issues with the stock rear driveshaft.

Well, I'm not going to complain about getting a free set of Adams F/R. Maintenance is more of a pain when you start getting into this stuff more and more. I think I'm up to 16 grease points around the Jeep now that I do every oil change. Now, if I didn't I would have used stock until I broke them.

Cool I'm new here and I don't want to be a part of anything where it's all bashing all the time...we are jeep group all with something in common that we love but not all are at the same level of knowledge and we need to understand that!

Did you find my advise informative that made you think or did you just order a set of adams shafts because tow other people suggested them? Just curious.

Taking everything into consideration first I'm def not going to just order anything after the lift is installed I will do full flexing with a forklift to see what I need to do. I'm not using the RK shocks I will be selling them I have 6.5-8" lift shocks from fox so along with the 5.5" kit I may possibly be doing a small coil spacer to accommodate the shocks properly
