Default Driving light wiring.

So I got some new pro comp driving lights in a deal that I made. My question is: can I wire them up to the high beam switch on my headlights? Do I need a special harness etc?

If you want to do that I would use the high beam as a trigger on a relay for the lights. Problem is that they will be on anytime your high beams are on which may be illegal.

X2. Wire them to a relay. Use the OE circuit for a trigger.

They aren't illegal if you install them in the DOT approved location.

That's fine as long as they aren't above your headlights and you only have 4 individual lights on at one time, no more. And get a relay for them so they run off the battery and a trigger of your choice (hi beams).

You should be able to buy a complete harness at any automotive store. The kit will come with a relay, wires, fuse holder and a switch too. But you don't have to use the switch.
