Default Driving lights of XHD winch bumper

So I'm getting one of the XHD bumper from the scratch n dent sale. My problem is that since the JK came with a Body Armor bumper that I don't have the stock fog light to install in the bumper.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to a good driving light that would fit into the fog light enclosure (factory size)? I am partial to hella so I was thinking of trying to get a set of Micro DEs to fit in there.

What do you think?

theres got to be some kicking around on mebay or in the for sale section here. I'm in the same boat and will start my search soon. I've got the most ridiculous aftermarket chrome bumpers and wish I had stockers. I was thinking of contacting the previous owners to see if they still had the stock bumpers!

Watch the for sale section, or post in the wanted section. You'll see them in there every now and then from people going to bumpers without cut-outs

Might try the Delta kit as well. They make a complete kit with lights intended to bolt into the factory holes, so it should fit the RR XHD as well.

My goal is to have better than factory optics. I'll take a look at the deltas since they are drop-ins. I have hella 550 driving lights with silverstar bulbs and can see 20 times better than with just the headlights. I might as well not even have the headlights on! That's the reason I am dyin' to get my hands on the new northridge kit coming out!

Just FYI, I have the same bumper and the factory fogs. They aren't nearly as bright in the XHD bumper, since they are recessed pretty deep. Don't go with stock fog lamps, you'll be disapointed.

That was my bid concern with how they sit. I need a projector style light.

you could also try the dealer, might be more expensive but at least you'll know they fit. I changed all my factory bulbs out with performance bright whites...MUCH better even with the deeper fit in my XHD bumper.

I figured out what I am doing now. Just ordered a pair of the Hella Micro DE fog lights. I have used these before and they have a great light output and beam spread. I'm going to cut the two guards off each of the foglight openings and weld a plate inside that will hold the DE light since they are only 81mm.

I'll post pictures up of the progress and the light output.

I am interested in this as well. Will the delta lights come with the mounting bracket for the bumper? Or do you have to provide it yourself?
