Drop pitmans put too much stress on the sector shaft, hence the reason all quality lift kits do not come with a drop pitman.
Do you need a trackbar relocation bracket if you have an adjustable trac bar?

Two different issues:
The Trackbar centers the axle.
The front bracket works in conjunction with a drop pitman / draglink flip to flatten the steeper angles while keeping the trackbar and draglink parallel to each other.

So, up front, if you add a raised bracket for the trackbar, you will then want to do something to move the draglink also. Having them at different angles makes for the interesting handling characteristics you are trying to avoid...

For the rear, the setup is less complicated. A raised trackbar bracket is good to have for its' effect on roll-center. Many prefer this cheaper option over an adj trackbar for that reason (even though it will not center the axle as well.)

You do not need it but it does help with the quality of the ride. If you are doing a drag link flip then yes you need a raised bracket on the axle. The drag link and track bar need to be parallel.
