Drop in Side Mirrors, When doors off.
I know theres a few threads on here about how to make your own drop in mirrors for when you have your doors off, but I found some you can buy without having to do any bending or cutting of your own. They are about 50 bux for a pair and they come in black or stainless. Made by olympic 4x4, called safari mirrors. They drop into the door hinge.

They say they are only for 76-06 jeeps but I took a chance and got mine in and they fit perfectly my only recommendation is you change out the metal washers that come with it, with plastic ones.

Thanks
I bought generic truck mirrors at my local auto parts store for $20 that look the same and came with the plastic washers. I actually got the idea from the pic on Quadratec's site.

Yeah, I tried doing that after getting some ideas off of this site, but I couldn't seem to find any. I found one that was 20 bux for one mirror and still didn't have everything I needed to drop it in.

To be honest I don't know yet, I live in Texas and it started warming up in the 80s and 70s again so i ordered them, but when they came in we got a cold front so now we are in the 30s and about to get snow... yeah I know, snow in Texas at this time of year..how rediculous... however I don't see how they would vibrate, the ball joint where the mirror attaches to the arm is pretty solid and tight, and as for the arm you can tighten that down as much as you'd like, to avoid any vibrating. I'll let you know for sure as soon as it warms again..I think it will be warm again on monday, so I should be able to put them to the test then.
