Default Dual rate or plush ride?

So I am going to be getting rid of my current springs for something a little more smoother. My springs ride pretty good until I hit a pothole or washboard road, then it sucks.

I am debating between the Currie Rock jock 4 inch dual rate springs and the EVO Plush ride springs. Has anyone on here tried either one? What kind of benefits do you get out of the dual rate springs? I am leaning towards EVO because my family likes a smooth ride, but have not decided yet.

Any advice would be good. These are going to be for a 4 inch lift. I also have tons of heavy mods such as winch, bumpers, ORFAB tire carrier, 2 gas cans, high lift and a 35 on the back.

Would like to hear more about dual rate springs for sure.

Heard nothing but good things about EVO plush ride.. That's what I'm going to get soon , the 3" for me though since they finally got it out.
But if you want 4" I would cal ORW, they have a great deal on their version of the plush coil and they only have 4". I think its like $300 for all 4.
Hope this helps

Sounds good. I'll give them a call and see what the deal is. I may be inclined to go to a 3 inch, or a 3.5.

I don't want to take this off track and sorry for a little hijack, but do the evo's really get around advertised 3 or 4in? Or do you end much higher than wanted? I had been debating about going plush ride, just don't want to be beyond 3in. I have brawler f/r, winch and or fab carrier.

Sounds like a plan. I think I am going to switch to 3 inch. With all the pinch seam trimming, bump stops I have done, do you think I can upgrade to 37's? I have 35's now with tons of clearance, but thats with my 4 inch springs.

Also have the smittybilt XRC fenders so fenders are never going to be a problem.
