Post Dumb Spacer Question

I tryed to post this question on another spacer thread, but didn't get a response, didn't want to start a new thread. I am new to this wheel spacer issue. One dumb question, since it's the front wheels that might rub with larger tires. Are rear wheel spacers also needed with the same size larger tire. Is it just for looks, meaning the rear spacers. ?

Half of the added tire width goes 'into' the wheel well. It is more likely to be an issue up front, but don't assume there won't be an issue in back. (I think rubbing on the links is a common issue in back?)

You don't HAVE to have them in both front and rear, but most people think it looks goofy to just have them on one or the other.
Even just the couple of inches of width difference between the axles would be noticeable.

nthinuf is right, sometimes it can be the rear that rub. Just depends on your particular mods.

If you put 35X12.5R17's onto stock Rubi rims and don't run spacers, the sway bar links will rub.

I once wheeled with a guy that did this. His solution was to remove his rear sway bar links.

I didn't ask him how his JK handled at high speed after he did the mod.

This is true. I had installed my lift and kept the stock wheels and tires. well I just recently upgraded to 35's and new wheels. When we took off the stock rear wheels, there were rub marks on the rear links. So I can only imagine with larger tires
