Well you guys aren't making it any easier to decide lol.
On a side note how many miles are you guys getting out of these tires?

I feel like you are going to get the most miles out of the KO2's.

OP.... Aka Pats fan ..... SO SWEET!!!!! THE DAMN CHEATERS ARE OUT !!!! That's my Super Bowl victory right there!!! Great job Denver defence!!!!!! What's more important a little more mileage or better grip? My vote still Duratracs(snow flake rated) A quick Google search read the centre tread pattern on the Duratracs were better for snow vs the ko2's

Its been a long time since I last had the need for good off road tires, about 25 years actually, and after doing a lot of reading of reviews and assessing my needs I pulled the trigger and bought Durtracs for 2013 Jk #1. Finally had the chance to run these things in the snow, got twenty+ inches by days end Saturday and got to say I have no regrets with my decision as a great all around tire. Generally better priced than KO2's, ride is quite for an aggressive tread, have great traction in the wet and now confirm the same about the snow. Duratracs will definitely be going on my other 2013 Jk when the stock Goodyear junk wears out (or I get fed up driving in wet conditions with them).

I wouldn't recommend the KO2's I have 35x12.5 and live in Colorado my tires have almost 25k on them so far and they aren't good in the snow or ice! I won't purchase them again!

I have been using Duratracks for a few years on my JKU. They are a great DD tire that excel in ice and snow. They also do better in mud than KO's.

25k miles on them? I wouldnt expect them to do much good anymore in the snow/ice. After the first half tread is gone on any tire, snow and ice performance is thrown out the window... even with a strickly snow tire.

Just saying.

I have had them for 6 months in Colorado when the snow 1st fell I had about 13k on the tires I roughly drive 125 to 150 miles per day so you might be right that they won't be great any more. I have had 315//17 Firestone Destination M/Ts in upstate NY for 45k with zero issues in snow and ice it also depends if you state doesn't salt or plow that well Colorado is horrible at keeping the roads clear! Your state might be different!

I live in manitoba, Canada , we get crazy winters and tons of snow. Haven't tried the ko2's yet but I've driven through 3 feet of snow with no issues on durratrac , great stopping on ice to. Only complaint is they can throw some wicked stones if you drive gravel roads. If your looking for strictly winter tire durratracs are the way to go

No experience with other tires in snow but MD got dumped with 20+ snow this weekend. I have duratracs (285s) with no other mods and I was out everyday with a smile from ear to ear. Would not trade for anything else. Breaking was beyond belief as well.
