Default Duratrac load ratings question

The 285/75/16 tires I wanted are load rated E only. Is everyone running these? Seems a bit heavy and worried about getting proper footprint with the little JK Unl on them.

Thanks for any help.

I'm running E-rated 275/65R18's. On the street in the summer I am running them at 35 psi. A little lower in the winter. Definitely rougher than the stock Duelers but are fine even on the highway. Smoother than the BFG KO's I had on my old suburban.

Post I was concerned about load range Es too..

so I decided to go with 265/75/16s on my stock steelies. I'm using load range "C"

The tire guy at Discount Tire said they wouldn't mount 285s on these wheels anyway...

I ran e rated 305/65/17 km2 for almost a year. Had them down to 30 psi. 35 was rough!
