Default Duratrac run small but this is crazy

I'm running 315/75/16s at about 35psi. Just reassured my tires to calibrate my flashpaq and they measured a little over 33 INCHES!!!! Jeez...

I've got about 38k miles on my tires--

Can other GYDT owners post up their tire hight??

Depending on wheel width and weight of your rig, most tires measure 1"-1.5" less than the labeled size when mounted and on the ground.

Most 35s are around 34.5" unmounted and around 33.5" mounted when brand new. Some are a little taller and some are a little shorter.

Duratrac 315/75/16s are reported to be 34.6" unmounted and new, but I'd bet that actual specs vary a little.

It would not be surprising that a 35 with 38k miles would measure close to 33" if the wheel was wider than 8" and he rig was on the heavy side.

Yup, the 33's run small too, about 31.75. Still, amazing for what they pull me out of. I do wish they ran truer to size.

my toyo mts only measure a 1/2 inch smaller on a 9 inch wheel with a pretty heavy rig. I think it just depends on the tire and materials used

I really love the tires--but would like something a little more true to size when these are done.

My 33" DT's ran about 33 1/4" at 32psi and a little bigger when I ran them at 40psi which I had to do to get the mileage above 11mpg and they rode just fine being a load E tire that was the recommended pressure! But my 35" MTR's run about 34 1/2"

I'm running 28lbs in my KM2s. They measured about 33.8 when I had them mounted. If you want a true 35", get 37".
