DV8 Fender delete
Anyone running these? I like the look, but the pics kind of suck.. I like that they are quarter panel armor and fender deletes in one. Just looking for better pics and opinions of anyone that has run them. I only plan on running the rear deletes. I am happy with my front fenders, but have bad luck with the passenger rear fender.

Not a fan of DV8 in general, but I agree, I like the look of those. I have the GenRight deletes as well, paired with PSC corner armor. I think the combination of the corner armor accounting for the delete is a better idea here. I had to fiddle with the spacing of my rear deletes a lot to get an acceptable line with my armor and how deep the did or did not sit in the recessed area back there. For what it's worth......if you've trimmed the pinch seam on your jeep, I'd expect to have to trim up the front of that armor as well. I had to shave down my GenRight delete with a band saw to match the lines I had previously cut in my jeep.
One other thing that stands out is that if you have any rocker armor, you'd either have to trim it or this new piece as it dips down to where rocker armor typically sits behind the rear door.

They're on par with Smittybilt I'd say. It's 3/16" steel so not sure I'd be concerned about quality as much as the design itself. Not sure how they can't have a dang picture from the rear. You're right though....there's just not much out there. I've not seen this before so maybe the product is just really new. I would not in that picture the jeep has a 40" Nitto Trail Grappler on it (the 40" version has those square side lugs), and there is a lot more trimming to accommodate a 40" tire in the rear. I was trying to see what it looked like on the rear side of the wheel well, and also back around the taillights. I'll snap a picture of my combination later today so you can see what the GenRight and PSC look like together. It's definitely not as clean of a look.
It would be nice to be all one piece. It does not look like that one goes around the back, but hard to tell. I kind of like it just being on the side, I've never had anything get close to my corners. Usually just the passenger rear fender. I did look through some of your pics, it doesn't look bad, just an extra seam and screws.

Unfortunately, I built into my armor to cover up damage in several places. I never could get over drilling holes in a nice clean body so I decided to wait until it was damaged. It was the wrong decision in hindsight. The day after, or there abouts, I installed that corner armor, my wife decided to back out of the garage and directly into the passenger side rear corner. With the armor in place, she ended up just breaking my taillight and putting a nice big scrape in my new powder coat. One thing about being fenderless in back......most of the time I really appreciate not having anything there while wheelin'. Less to things to scrap up when moving by trees or rocks. Every now and then though I wish I had a metal fender there as they can act like a higher slider when off camber. without anything there, I leave just a bit more towards a rock, wall or whatnot. I'm usually topless, but with a top on it can create potential damage in more extreme tight situations.

Helps keep those tailgaters back a bit.
