Dynatrac ball joints
The price is high, but if you think about it, the life of the JK you will probably go through 3 -5 sets if you are not offroading(assuming well over 100000 miles), and probably many more if you are using the rig to its capability. I mean, if you have to replace the balljoints twice while not under warranty work you would have spent more if you bought the dynatrac balljoints in the first place. You can service the balljoints without popping them out. If you think long term, these ball joints are a no brainer.
Here's a link and you can also click on the link at the bottom of my SIG...One of our popular sponsors here has them available

My question to you Ryanc: I see we have very similar setups, same lift and tires. How many miles do yo you have on your rubi before you replace? I just hit 41k on my JK and the lift/tires have been on since 24k. So, i'm hoping these would be of some significant help. I think a good alignment to redial in the caster, new balljoints, and new ss. I should be sittin nice then.
then for stage 2 of the suspension: Evo plush 4" springs and their King 2.5 Shocks! Then I'll be smooth sailing!

I put my Jeep on a rack at work today and check my ball joints. I have about a 1/4 of movement on both sides. That is to say with the vehicle in the air I can take a large pair of channel locks and move the wheels up and down about 1/4 of an inch. My whole front end is quickly falling apart. The time has come to work over the front end. I will be replacing the ball joints with these and it looks like the front axle shafts have to come out for sure so I think it would be a waste not to install some ORE Mag 44's at the same time. Anyone do this already?
I've got some these in my sights, but justifying the cost to the misses has been tough. She drove the JK yesterday and I might have sold her on these. I recently bashed my SS and it's basicially a paper weight. So, at 40-45mph over one specific bump I'm getting a little shimmy, and she got to experience it yesterday driving it.

Nope, serious as a heart attack. It is actually very common, and I suspect that there are many on this forum that have shot ball joints and do not even know it. Chrysler really dropped the ball with these pieces of crap. Im willing to bet dynatrac could vouch for this.

12K miles is nothing!
