Default dynatrac pr44!!!

I have question.

to upgrade to pr44, normally does people change their front d30 one to pr44?

rear one is dana 40 right ? so it does not really need to change rear one?

I just curious...

my jk has 34' tire with 3.21 gear..

so I'm thinking to regear with gussets and axel sleeve or save more money to go pr44....

People upgrade cause its a lot stronger than stock also you have a 44 in the rear.

Your rear is a Dana 44. Several people who have a Dana 30 in the front and want to run larger tires (35 & up) replace their weak Dana 30 with a 44 in the front. You can't beat a Pro rock 44. I know several people who are very pleased with them. The only thing you may want to do with your rear is upgrade the axle shafts.

Unless you're doing hardcore wheeling, I wouldn't bother with swapping for PR44. D30 is plenty strong.

the front axle tube Bends and then your tires lean inward at the top. that is 1 of the main reasons why people upgrade to the pro rock 44 . early 2007 with the automatic transmission the rear axle was a Dana 35. they kept breaking all the time so jeep put 44s in the rear from then on. I bent my Rubicon axle tube so I upgraded to the Dina track.
