Default Dynomax EVO Competition #39516 '07-'11 for 4-Door only...?

Hi guys,

I'm wondering if anyone has installed this system on their 2-door? I bought the system to try it out (only $200) and now I'm told it's for 4-door's only. The Dynomax website says 2/4 Door models.

I thought it was strange looking at the instructions that step 2 says to cut 2.5" off the intermediate pipe, so I called Dynomax to see if there's an updated kit that doesn't need to be modified out of the box. They asked me if I have a 2 or 4 door. I told them I have a 2 Door and they told me the Kit won't fit! What the heck? I thought some guys had installed this Kit on their 2-Doors?

If this Kit in fact won't fit a 2 Door, does anyone know if Dynomax plans on making a 2 Door model for the '07-'11? Or is their another company that makes a similar Kit for the 2-Door?

Thanks.

Follow the instructions and cut away than it will fit. They dont have a system yet to fit a 2dr without cutting. I didnt want to cut so I just got the rockcrawler exhaust that dumps out past the rear axle

This. The cut is for a the 2 door, no cutting is needed on the 4 door. We are in the process of updating this in the instructions.

EDIT!!!!! READ POST 12!

New information has been added, cut is needed and will only work on a 2 door.

Yeah I was told multiple times by the dynomax rep that the 2011 2dr didnt need a cut. But I'm realizing it does now that I'm installing it..

So back it goes. The Rockcrawler kit, part number 39464, will fit my 2011 2 door with no modifications however, correct?

Aye, yai yai. This is cool! The Dynomax hotline said "sorry you'll have to return the Kit, it's only for the 4-door. I was getting ready to ship it back.

So it is true, it's for the 2-door too?

If so, how does the rear pipe hanger bolt on? My '07 only has 1 bolt holding the EVAP to the frame crossmember, the hanger has 2 bolts holes. Any photos or explanationi would be greatly appreciated!

Great forum, thanks guys!

EDIT THIS DOES NOT WORK!

So on the 2007-11 they way it is mounted is with a hanger that looks like the one in the picture below (NOTE! This is on a 2012 so a DIFFERENT mounting location)

Install mounting bracket 36517 using two existing bolts on the cross member just past the outlet location of the DynoMax muffler. Reuse one of the OE rubber isolators from the back of the vehicle
