In general if there is any loss it is minimal. On the 3.8 (we haven't dynoed the 3.6) We saw gains through out the power band.

I wonder why not?
PS I checked out the inspection list, my JK would fail miserably. :(

Exhaust System:

Check vehicle muffler
Check for after-market uncertified muffler
Check for loose joints or leaking joints
Check for leaks caused by corrosion, seams, or patches on muffler or tailpipe
Check tailpipe end for restrictions
Check for exhaust system modifications allowing excessive noise
Ensure no part of the exhaust system passes through the passenger compartment

I have same gears and tires on a 2012 unlimited, auto.

I haven't noticed power increase or decrease. MPG might be a tad improved, but hard to tell, cause I have no roof or doors on right now. Whole lotta wind turbulence going on.

Will be closed up for drive to Moab in aug... That will be a test

It dumps exhaust under the occupant compartment of the vehicle . There is an inspection manual that goes along with the check list , it is explained in the exhaust section of the manual .

Looks like it hangs a bit low. Any of you running it smash it while wheeling? I play in the rocks a lot. I'd hate to buy it and smash it all to hell.

Gotcha! That is one of the main reason we mark it as for "off-load use". We can't account for every state's law. All of our other systems are legal.

I have wheeled on 35's, 37's and 38's with this system NO issues. I have done Ultimate Adventure, JK Experience and tough trails no dents. Exhaust tips? YEP!
