Let me start off by saying that I love my new dynomax ss muffler but I am disappointed in the company. I was excited about finding a new muffler that sounded great plus I was told I would qualify for the $25 steel rebate. Then I get this letter. Is it just a scam to see if you will get tired of mailing them stuff and forfeit the gift card? I submitted everything including the original recipes from 4 wheel parts with item number, amount, and date!!! Still not enough! Has anyone gotten the gift card yet?

What model number exhaust kit did you buy?

 

I bought the dynomax ultra flo SS muffler. I even asked the guys from 4 wheel parts before making my purchase if it was included.

There is a rep from dynomax on the forums, look at my recent thread on single exit exhaust and he posted in the last page

 

All they asked for was a receipt with the qualifying part's number on it... Did yours have that?

It seems like your beef would be with 4WP for telling you something qualified that didn't or for supplying you with an inadequate receipt.

I submitted the rebate for my kit and can honestly say that I was amazed how quickly I got my VISA card. Of course I buy from Northridge to avoid the goons at 4WP/4WD...

 

I submitted a receipt with everything necessary circled. My mistake was sending in the original receipt without out making copies of it first.. Glad you got yours, though

I got mine quick too.

 

I've done their rebate a couple of times over the past years and have had no problems.

 

I've always gotten my rebate quickly from them. Have installed three different cat-back kits on three different vehicles.

 

I dont think that your muffler qualifies. To be sure, you may want to cross check the part number you bought with the info in the offer. Look at the very top where it describes what qualifies and doesnt.

I bought the RockKrawler exhaust, which has the ultra flo ss muffler in it and was told by Dynomax that it does not qualify.
