Default Eagle Alloy Wheels

Anyone running the Series 187 16x8 with 4" of backspacing. Are there any issues running with 4" of backspacing or anything special that needs to be done to run these on a 4D Sahara. I am looking at 305/70r-16 tires to go with them.

thanks

I'm running the 17" AE's with no problems whatsoever, I wouldn't thnk there would be an issue.

I will have a 2.5" lift. What is the difference between offset and backspacing? What types of rubbing issues might I have?

I'm running that exact size in the 186 series and they fit fine. I have 315/75/16 w/ a Tera BB 2.5" and the only place the tires rub is on the stock front bumper at full compression w/ swaybar disconnected.

BTW I'm selling mine if your interested, I want to go to 17s to run 37" tires.

That article helps me understand it alot better. Thank you...

The reason I posed the original question is because some people have noted issues with the Cragar soft 8's 15x8. The offset and backspacing is close to the rims I am looking at and I'm not sure if the issues reported with the cragars are due to the rim size, backspacing or offset. Anyone have any thoughts on that?

I have that exact wheel and have no problems running 35inch tires other than having to trim the plastic crap under the front bumper.
