Default Easy pinch seam trim

Hi all just trimmed the rear pinch seams with an electric tool that I got from good old Harbor Freight for the princely sum of $19.00. It uses a 3" thin cutting disc that goes thru the metal very clean and easy. It's like an air cutoff wheel but is electric. Quick and neat. If anybody needs one in San Diego area get back to me and we'll see if we can get it to you.

Did you fill the gap? And paint the edge...it will keep it from getting mud and junk.

Filled with expanding foam waiting for a bit will trim and put a suitable bed liner type product on it. The cutoff tool was the real time saver and clean cut.

Post some pics. I've been debating about doing this or not.

I highly recommend 3M 5200 Marine caulk. It has very high adhesive properties, comes in black(also white) and is nearly indestructible. Worth the $.

A dremel tool with the carbon fiber wheel works really well as does a air saw...I've used both but prefer the dremel tool. And filled it with black gasket material and painted over all of it...worked out pretty well.
