Hi,

I got the ebay key cut and installed the internals from my factory and can put it all back together. The only thing I can't do is figure out how to set the spring in place so that it will spring the key open and close like it did before I took it apart. I can see how the spring gets loaded for the force but I don't know which way to "load the spring" if that makes sense?

You have to load the spring in the opposite direction that it will normal open. I loaded mine with one full turn and it's been working fine.

 

You can use google to get the ebay key or contact a store name austin lock and key.
