ECU Modified/Swap

Any see any issues with doing a ECU swap from a 2012 3.6 Auto to a 2015 3.6 Auto? The 2015's are encrypted and will not allow a superchip module to make changes. I have access to a 2012 ECM for a swap in place of my2015, Just wondering ........
