Do the stock elec disco on a rubi have to be modified/changed to accommodate any lift?

No.. but depending on how high a lift you need longer sway bar links. but most lifts come with them if not. just buy a pair they are inexpensive

I was planning for a tf 2.5 lift and was just wondering. Thanks a bunch.

It should come with near rear links, then you move the stock rear links up front.
