Default electronic locker ?

any comments on which locker I should go with Eaton or Auburn I will be running 35's and 5.13 gears on a 2 door 6-speed .I don't want arb just because of the compressor air lines :new: any comments on which set-up to go with .

Apparently the d30 elocker is a good choice. The d44 version, not so much. The ected uses clutches. It may work fine for you, but clutches have a bad habit of wearing out, and it can't be rebuilt.

And if you choose the "minimal investment" route for that front 30 instead of a thousand dollar selectable, look at a lunchbox or a truetrac.

Take the Eaton over the Auburn. I have the same jeep as you and just did a ton of research on this. The Auburn is a clutch system and can have trouble releasing and may even slip when locked. Even through the Eaton is 2-pinion it still a good realiable unit. Especially on a lighter 2-door.
