Electronic Stability Control problem with 35s
nah, it's just mother Jeep telling you to slow down and be careful - LOL
the ESC is constantly calculating the steering wheel, speed, tire slippage and forget what else, all the time. As soon as it calculates a series of patterns that are not the norm like washboard roads where the Jeep tends to go in one direction, looses traction and you're steering in another it'll kick in.
If your steering is not centered then it calculates oversteer or understeer on turns (depends which direction your steering is off-center)
I've turned mine off since day 1 using the steering wheel dance. Don't recommend it off for everyone.
I'll be turning it back on soon - daughter is reaching driving age -

Yeah, I could see a lawsuit from someone else driving it, accident happens, then the ambulance-chasers enter the scene. "Oh, you turned what off (that was a factory installed safety feature)???" I'll just keep manually turning mine off. Highway driving is fine, it's just those FM roads that are bad.

I'm driving an 09 with 3" and 35's. Mine was doing the same, kicking on in turns.
Another thing to consider is that with bigger tires, your speed is off and the computer is trying to figure that out as well. I got the AEV pro cal to re adjust my speedo and it worked pretty well, but I still disabled the ESP.
The manual has specific instructions on how to permanently disable the ESP (it is reversible) for people that have installed bigger tires. It's one of those procedures where you turn the wheel to the right, turn on the key, turn off key, turn wheel to the left, turn on key...etc.
Back in the day, vehicles didn't have ESP... driving mine now is just like driving any other rear wheel drive vehicle when it comes to handling/losing traction.
