Default Electronic Swaybar Disconnect failure...

While wheeling in Colorado on vacation, the Swaybar failed to re-connect. I un-bolted the links and verified that it was not connected. Took it to the dealer in Salida, and they got a replacement in from Denver overnight. The service tech said that the Teraflex 2.5" BB probably contributed to the failure, but covered it under warranty. ($1700 part ) The stock swaybar links are not long enough with this lift, and under full droop, can invert the sway bar. (pointed down instead of up) I noticed this when I installed the lift, but by all of the comments from other people using this lift, I thought it would be OK.

I will try to get some pics to illustrate the problem and post them.

Thanks for the link. This came out while I was on vacation. It appears that when fully extended the bar and link are in-line, and when it goes to compress it can do 3 things.

Fold the correct way, fold the incorrect way, or jam causing breakage of the disconnect mechanism...

I'll opt for the $15 extended links...
