Default Please help: Engine light after lift install

I just installed a RC 2.5BB and now my service engine light comes on. It never happened before so I was wondering if anyone ever had this problem before.

Thanks for any info because even though I've had my Jeep for a year, I'm still new to this whole lifting and such.

Not sure what would set it off concerning the lift install. Did you hit or pull accidentally on any wires/sensors? If you havea scan tool you can stop guessing and know what is happening instantly. Acheap and valueble tool every gear head should own.

There are instructions on project JK to pull trouble codes through the cluster. are the abs and traction lights on? If so maybe an abs sensor wire.

And there are no sensors that I can think of that the lift affected.

Don't have a scan tool but getting one. I do have an appt. set up for next Thurs. at the Jeep dealership.

No lights are on except the engine light. Also, ran the cluster test last night w/o any codes showing up.
