As much as I hate to admit it, the engine just isn't made for mods. Intake and exhaust is about it. Hopefully someone like Diablosport will add tuning at some point, but I doubt it. I'd be willing to part with a few thousand for a real 35rwhp/35rwtq all engine throughout the powerband. That would be plenty of power for me. Programming is the snag as the shifting on the automatic is just terrible for on-road driving. On the plus side, that means more mod money for lifts, tires, etc. If I wanna go fast I'll drive the Daytona. If I want to go anywhere, I'll take the JK.

The heart of any engine is the camshaft, so with a better cam profile you would be suppized, also somebody needs to tear into the computer programing, and figure out some set pionts to go along with a new cam profile

just my thought

True there. At some point you'll have to add new gears to ge the power back. Theres a guy here running 40's. Of curse his jeep has lots of mods, but he can still chase me down the freeway with his little ol v-6....

With the right bolt on,programming parts and gearing, this mini-van motor makes plenty of power, a 6.1 hemi is going to add alot of weight & suck down alot of fuel!
